Role Context
The role involves working on payment devices (POS/validators/ATM/kiosks), backend systems, and payment networks (Visa/Mastercard).
Role Purpose
Work on payment systems involving devices and backend systems, focusing on understanding system flows, integrations, and supporting issue resolution.
What You Will Do
Understand payment flows, work with APIs, support system integration and issue resolution across device and backend.
Must Have
Experience in payment systems, payment gateways, or POS/terminal-based systems. Basic understanding of EMV, APIs (REST/JSON) and how systems interact end-to-end.
Good to Have
NFC, IoT exposure.
Additional Technical Exposure (Preferred)
Payment devices (POS, terminals, ATM, kiosks), EMV L2/L3, NFC/contactless, payment gateways, ISO8583, device management (TMS), IoT ecosystem, OTA updates, embedded/firmware exposure.
Avoid
Pure QA, pure developers without payment exposure.
